Ive been using Headspace for 2 years and am about to renew for my third. Initially, I balked at the subscription price (about $80 US / year). I was looking at it as an app. Its not. Its a meditation course accessed through technology. For perspective, a friend spent $500 on a mediation class and never meditated once after the course ended. Headspace is part of my life for a fraction of the cost. It isnt a quick fix or miracle cure, but if you are serious about making mindfulness part of your life, Headspace is a wise and cost-effective investment.
I have tried meditation many times over the years and never stuck with it. Headspace initially appealed to me because of what it didnt include -- no annoying music, no chanting, no dogma, and no judgement. I stuck with it because I got results.
