Ive been looking for a type of guided meditation that would not only help me establish a daily routine that I look forward to but also encourage me and help me understand why Im meditating. It starts slowly, just a few minutes at a time, which is perfect for someone like me who has never meditated more than just a few days in a row before but wants to stick to it and be able to reap the benefits. I was always too critical of myself and never really understood that I dont have to turn my brain off to meditate. This app helps me realize that my thoughts during meditation are supposed to be there and is helping me learn to just be an observer of them rather than worry that theyre intruding. Ive recently recommended this app to my daughter who has PTSD and has a hard time focusing. She, too, thought she was too scatterbrained for meditation, but I think this app will teach her otherwise and it will be beneficial to her. I think its fun and playful enough to hold the interest of a 13 year old, which I havent found for her in other guided meditation apps or videos, so its definitely suitable for all ages.
